It was a tough decision, but the judges at Aquatec Group have finally selected this year’s photo competition winner.

We are pleased to announce that Richard Sheryll has won the Summer of Suspension photo contest 2016, with his photograph of the Deep Ocean Benthic Sampler collecting benthic boundary layer sediment samples in absence of decompression. We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Equipment Awards 2016 – Phase 1 is Nicholas Jordan from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Nicholas’ project on the Impacts of Shoreline Protection Structures on Sediment Transport in the Great Lakes ticked all of the boxes, showing great innovation and practicality of the experiment.
