Jarett used one of Aquatec's advanced turbidity loggers to evaluate the effect of opening the Bonnet Carré Spillway on the Mississippi Gulf Coast oyster production.

The Bonnet Carré Spillway was designed to relieve flood waters from the Mississippi.  However, the resulting discharge may significantly impact the condition of Mississippi Gulf Coast oyster reefs.  This experiment monitored the spillway opening event of March 2018.  The AQUAlogger® 310TY  provided short term quantification of abiotic/physical parameters located in the study area.
